Refund Policy
Overview
K-MedLinker is an officially licensed medical tourism coordination agency registered with Korea's Ministry of Health & Welfare (Reg. No. 2025-08-02-06152). We help international patients connect with Korean hospitals and clinics, and coordinate the full treatment journey from consultation to arrival.
This policy explains how fees are handled and what refund conditions apply.
1. Deposit — 100% Refundable
1) Reservation Deposit
When you book through K-MedLinker, a reservation deposit of USD 300–500 may be collected to secure your hospital appointment and begin the coordination process. The exact amount depends on the medical service booked and the timing of your reservation.
Full refund (100%) The deposit is fully refunded once you complete, in Korea, the same treatment or procedure that was originally reserved.
Non-refundable cases The deposit is not refundable in the following situations:
-
You receive a different treatment than the one reserved
-
You cancel your reservation
-
You change/reschedule your reservation
Alternative use of the deposit Instead of forfeiting the deposit outright, patients may choose to apply it toward another paid service offered by K-MedLinker (for example, airport/hospital pickup service), subject to availability.
2) Hospital Reservation Deposit
In addition to the K-MedLinker reservation deposit above, some hospitals and clinics may independently request their own reservation deposit at the time of hospital booking. This is set and collected directly by the hospital, not by K-MedLinker, and the amount and conditions vary by hospital.
Full refund (100%) This hospital deposit is fully refunded as soon as you receive, at the hospital, the same medical service you reserved.
Because policies differ between hospitals, K-MedLinker will confirm the specific hospital's deposit amount and terms with you before you commit to booking.
2. Treatment Fees — Subject to Each Hospital's Policy
K-MedLinker does not collect or hold treatment fees. All fees for medical procedures, surgeries, or treatments are paid directly by the patient to the hospital or clinic.
Important: Please confirm the hospital's refund and cancellation policy before making any payment for treatment.
Each hospital and clinic in Korea has its own independent refund policy, and these vary by institution, procedure type, and timing. Once a treatment fee is paid directly to the hospital, K-MedLinker does not have the authority to issue or facilitate a refund on the hospital's behalf.
K-MedLinker will provide you with the hospital's refund terms before you commit to payment, and can assist with communication if any issues arise. However, responsibility for treatment fee refunds lies with the individual hospital.
3. Cancellation
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify K-MedLinker in writing as early as possible. Early notice helps us inform the hospital in time and may reduce or avoid any cancellation fees on the hospital's side.
-
K-MedLinker's reservation deposit remains 100% refundable upon cancellation, subject to the conditions in Section 1
-
Any hospital cancellation fees are governed by that hospital's own policy — please confirm before booking
